Minato was obviously getting off on this situation. Jiro got to work licking and sucking the sole of the foot. The Bottom allowed him to do this for a full minute. Minato let it end by taking his foot away. He took a cursory glance at his foot. "I guess it's clean enough to get on the bed. Let's get to work." Jiro looked really miserable. "Yeah. Let's get to work." he said. Kazuki was really sad for him. No one actually deserved to be exploited like this. This was a horrible thing. Even the instructors looked disgusted. It was nothing short of a sadistic power play. Both of them knew that this would be shown to everyone in the hangar. Even if Kazuki wanted to stop this right now, neither of them could hear anything. When Minato was no longer looking at him, Jiro spit out all of the dirt in his mouth. Minato said "My Black Pulse is at 65. Just like I said. You better be able to get the connection up and running. I won't do anything more to help you out." While emitting a pulse 65 was pretty good, it was nowhere close to his maximum. He can get over 80 when he wanted to. Still, a 65 was over half of their goal.
Synchronizing went off without a hitch. The pulses combined and formed a very solid connection. That was never in doubt for any of the people watching this happen on the large monitor. It was Minato after all. After 30 seconds, the system deemed that it was now good enough. Both of the pilots were able to come back to reality. Kazuki went to the simulator. He wanted to check in on Jiro. He was not the closest to Jiro, but someone needed to say something. Jiro still looked really shaken. "You won. You are going through to the shakeup. I'll be there too." Jiro cracked a wry smile. "His foot tasted like shit!" Kazuki pat him on the shoulder. "You did what you had to do and I saw you got through." That was all that needed to be said. The instructors had a few choice words for Minato. He just crossed his arms and smirked. He was not longer just a trainee anymore. He had been registered as a new Bottom a month ago. His father and grandfather were great contacts to have. Nothing would come of this. It did not matter what anyone here said. Minato would get a cushy position somewhere else.
Being that all this was the case, there was nothing to be done other than just move on and strive to do their own thing. Minato did not have any more direct sway on their careers now. That stage was over. All that Kazuki, Jiro and Aito had to was figure out what was needed for the shakeup and secure their desired places. That was the last synchronization attempt of the squad. It was then that they were all dismissed for the day. Kazuki walked back to the sleeping quarters on his own. He had wanted to know what would be coming up next that day. It did not feel good to have things so up in the air. Everything had only been hinted at so far. Thankfully, all 24 of the boys were summoned together for an address. The lead instructors brought the first stage to a close. Kazuki was in Squad 3. Squad 1 had 2 get 5 successes or more. That is fine. Some bases had 0 boys pass. Squad 2 had 1 boy pass. Squad 3 had 4 pass the required amount. Those boys were Minato, Eiji, Ryuga and Kazuki. 5 boys passed in Squad 4. This crop of recruits was actually successful. By their numbers, 12 passed.
