As the sky went dark, the Elitper sighed and looked around. "We will need to make camp for the night." he told us. I agreed with him. We would need a safe place to rest along the way. We could not be awake and alert all hours of the day. Together, we were able to make a camp. When the fire was set up, the Elitper was able to put some meat of a stick and roast it. He did not share it. "I caught this meat before I got the prophecy explained and met you. Why didn't you get food from your master?" he asked us. That was something we had forgotten to ask of him. I was a little embarrassed about the blunder. We would not be eating that night. However, it would be easy to eat in the morning. We all were human. That made us all omnivorous. We could eat plants and meat. Since enemies loved to try attacking us because they thought we were weak enough to be bred or fed on, eating them when we beat them would not be wrong of us. It was exactly what they wanted to do to us. Missing one meal was not enough for us to be discouraged. We could manage our hunger until the next day.
What none of us expected was for the red spearmen to stretch his body over Bryson's supine body. "Wh-what are you doing!?" he asked the Elitper. The adventurer just scoffed at his clear discomfort. "You humans can keep all the heat inside of your soft bodies. Using you as a heat source is better than risking singeing my own tail in the firepit." The Elitper's face was past Bryson's crotch thankfully. Less thankful was the fact that his genital slit was pressed right against Bryson's face. He had done this on purpose. He could have arranged himself in any other way. I could only be slightly happy that he did not pick me. No doubt Clayton felt the exact same way. We slept for the night and woke up early in the morning. Clayton was sniggering to himself when I opened my eyes. I wanted to know what was so funny. I did not even need to ask as I followed his line of sight. The Elitper had become very erect during the night and he had unloaded all over his source of warmth. That was honestly a bit funny. I just could not hold back my laughter at that. The others soon woke up. Bryson was upset.
Giving him a chance to clean up was the very least we could do. The Elitper did not look remorseful at all about it. He said "If you wanted to suck on me, you should have just asked. I would have let you if you just let me know earlier." Bryson was not amused by the offer. We actually still needed to look for food. That was easy enough. The journey was perilous and rough. Several enemies got in our way. A male green Ekans got in our way. He had wanted to either breed or eat us. That was fine. We quickly took care of him. Now that we had his meat, we could cook it. The Elitper was annoyed at the big delay. Not only did we need to cook it well, we also had to prepare it so it could last a few days. That needed attention to detail and time. Eating some of it now also took time. Once we were ready, we made good time. The Elitper did not let us rest that night in order to make up for it. There were several more enemies to face at night. The cover of darkness served them well. It made no real difference to us. I was good at seeing in the dark due to the experiments done on us. We beat them all.
