Jon raises her fist to Sarah. "You bitch, you didn't have to do this to us! We never did any of that stuff you accused us of."
"Tough!" Sarah points an accusing finger at Jon. "You annoyed me Aggie." She layers Jon's new name with emphasis. "And look at you! You're tomboy, turned tranny. What a loser. Ugh. You're so mannish, I hope they don't let you in the girls locker room."
"Sarah! You ruined our lives! How could you!"
She merely titters. "I don't know, it almost looks like an improvement. You two weren't exactly prom royalty you know?"
Karen balls up her fists when Jon shouts out. "S-stop! No..." She turns to Sarah. "Listen. Just let us make a wish to change us back, or make our lives easier. This is absurd. You can't be this evil."
The girl shakes her golden locks in response. "How about you give me the stone, then I'll fix your lives."
"As if! You'd just keep it and probably make things worse!"
"Fine, stay this way then." Sarah begins to walk past the two.
"Wait!" Jon shouts. "What about a deal?"
Sarah looks over her shoulder and raises an eyebrow. "What sort of deal?"
"You're not going to get the stone back. You can't overpower us, and we'll keep it hidden, but we need your permission to make a wish. So how about y-you write down a wish, and we each write down a wish, and then we wish that they would all come true? See?" he pleads. "We both get what we want..."
Jon was somewhat surprised with himself. He didn't have any plan this morning, or even a few minutes ago, but his mind just moved with a certain clarity. Sarah gazes intently at the pair for a while, then nods. "Fine, but since there's two of you, I get two wishes. And if you just try to reverse last nights wish, I won't accept it."
Jon nods begrudgingly, then pulls out a notepad and pen. After a moment of thought, he writes something down.
"I wish that until we find a better and more permanent solution, Karen would look more and more like her ideal self every day."
As he passes the notepad to Karen, she spies the wish and hugs him. "Thanks Jon..." She takes the pen and scribbles something out rather quickly, then quickly passes the pad to Sarah. She gazes at the wishes for a few moments, then huffs at Karen. She takes her time with her wishes, and writes them slowly. Jon spares a glance at Karen before asking what she wished for. Karen just shakes her head.
Sarah hands the pad back, then quips. "Alright Aggie, make the wish. I'm getting tired of standing in the cold with you freaks."
Jon skims the other three wishes.
"I wish that until we find a better solution, my friends and family would be loving, and supportive." Jon's spares Karen a sympathetic glance, then looks at the other two.
"I wish I would win prom queen this year."
"I wish my hair and makeup would always be flawless."
Jon sneers at such superficial wishes, but nods her head.
"Ok! I wish, that the wishes written on the paper would be fulfilled for the one that wrote them!" She declares with a faux dramaticism. She blushes, not quite sure what came over her. Sarah responds with a smirk. "I approve." And begins to strut off as the wish takes effect..."You might want to check the back of that page though." She laughs as she walks away.
