Zoe immediately wraps her arms around her distraught sister, and in the midst of the moment Jon begins to tear up. He and Zoe never had sibling rivalry, but they weren't especially close either. Apparently in this reality, they were. Jon can't help but appreciate the embrace as the intensity of the moment washes over him. He returns it tightly, and thanks Zoe.
"Girls like that are toxic, they just ruin everything... How could she even think of taking something like that." Zoe just shakes her head. Her attention drifts to the stone, and she holds out her hand. Jon pauses, but obliges, it doesn't have any power for them anymore. "So this is what grampa gave you? It's pretty." Zoe smiles, then stares Jon in the eye. "Whatever that bitch said is a lie. You're perfect." She says, as she hugs her sister sweetly. She laughs. "Besides, calling Karen a tranny, what sort of weirdo is she?"
Tension grows in Jon's gut at the realization. She heard the wish about Karen... Wait... KAREN! Jon struggles to his feet, "Zoe, uhhh, thank you so much, but I really need to call Karen." The goth girl looks confused, but nods her head and retreats to the door. "Alright, just let me know if you need anything. Goodnight sis."
Jon's mouth goes dry as he waddles over to shut the door then rushes over to his phone. He dials Karen and fidgets as it rings... rings... rings. Finally it picks up.
"H-hello?" The voice on the other line is deeper, a little more nasally, but unmistakably his best friend.
"Karen! Oh my god, Karen!"
"Who is this?"
"Karen, it's me Jon."
"Jon? Jon! What the hell you prick! I tried calling you, but you weren't in my phone anymore and... well I couldn't remember your number. What are you doing with the stone?"
"It wasn't me Karen... it was Sarah, she came over and stole the stone."
"what!" she hisses.
After calming her down, Jon proceeds to explain the nights events. The call is filled with heavy silences, and pitted anxiety, but the two ultimately conclude that their best bet is to confront Sarah the next morning and force her to approve a wish. They opt not to talk about their lives, almost for a fear that discussing it will make it real...
After the call is over, Jon just floats around his room aimlessly taking in his new surroundings. He, thankfully, still has his computer, but none of his old files are the same. His games are completely different, his action adventure games being replaced with JRPG's and Life Sims. His walls no longer have rock band and gamer posters, but Kpop idols and Disney posters. He smacks his forehead. Apparently his new nerdy life is a bit sappy. His clothes are plain and are mostly comprised of a variety of sweaters and print T's. Not exactly flattering for a girls figure, but that suites him just fine.
Finally his eyes settle on his night stand. The first thing he sees are glasses... His glasses. Tentatively he slips them on his face, and is somewhat distraught to see that the far corners of his room look ever so clearer. Apparently he's near sighted now. Next is a messenger bag, rather than a purse, which produces various cosmetic items, notepads of drawings and... some sort of computer code? Ultimately he finds his License identifying him as Agatha Marie Gibson. He sighs. Even his name is frumpy.
He spends the remainder of the night fully clothed, hugging a pillow until sleep takes him. Tomorrow will let him make this all right!
