Sarah smirked as she watched her two enemies vanish. Sure, their punishment had been a bit drastic, but if she didn't like the results, she could always use the rock to fix things, right?
With another wish, she returned to her own room.
"I wonder what the new girl's going to be like?" She giggled to herself. "If anything, she has to be an improvement to those two losers. And if I like her, I may even keep her around till graduation!"
Checking the clock, she decided it was time to prepare for sleep. One quick wish later, she stood ready in her pajamas. Slipping into bed, she reached over to turn off her lamp. Her fingers bent as they collided with a bookcase. "Ow!"
Rubbing her smarting knuckles, she frowned at the bookcase. Why had she reached in that direction? Yet, for a moment there, she could have sworn her lamp was on the opposite side of the bed. Still puzzled, she turned off the light and lay down.
