As Dr. Osterhagen hung up the phone with his newest patient Sarah he was shaking his head. He asked his secretary to make a note in Sarah's record that she seemed confused and disoriented. If he didn't know better he would think Sarah was hearing about the Vulvafication process for the first time! Surely having two people you know transformed into female reproductive organs and having them inserted into your groin would be something you would remember! This was concerning news to the doctor because the previous 14 human tests didn't have anything like this happen...
Dr. Osterhagen thought back to when he had met Sarah, Jon, and Karyn almost one year ago. Jon had been referred to Dr. Osterhagen by a physician of his at the local hospital. Jon had recently been diagnosed with a disease, and a terminal disease at that. With no other options Jon had agreed to see Dr. Osterhagen and listen to his experimental and HIGHLY unorthodox treatment that could cure him. The only downside is the treatment would be at the upper limits of what the human mind and body could endure.
You see, Dr. Osterhagen had discovered something at the outermost edges of medical science, something that COULD cure almost all known diseases. That discovery was Vulvafication. Admittedly it was the most extreme medical treatment ever devised, but it was also the most effective.
The female reproductive system is a remarkable thing, it is actually unique in all of nature. And what most people don't realize is that not only is the DNA for female organs encoded in the genes of both men AND women, ALL people start out with female reproductive organs in early development. Every single person who has ever walked the planet at one point had a vagina.
The female reproductive system was also uniquely suited to accomplish what Dr. Osterhagen had developed. The Dr. had found he could force limited parts of DNA to become assertive and "aggressive". The aggressive part of the DNA would force the entire organism down to the structure that the aggressive section of DNA controlled. The amount of DNA that could be made "aggressive" in a full sized adult was not enough to grow a new whole body, but rather only enough information to take them down to a few organs at most.
The aggressive DNA process spread and eventually affected the whole body of the person receiving it, and would cause the whole person to BECOME the organs the aggressive DNA programmed. After some time had passed in their reduced state, the DNA could be reverted, and the person would grow back into their former selves. This process is the biological equivalent of hard rebooting a computer, the body would be growing back anew from it's original DNA and any defects or diseases that had been in the old body would be gone.
Years of experimentation in mice had found that of all the organs in the mammalian body only the female sex organs could fully accomplish the curing effects of the process, be successfully implanted in a host for the duration of the regeneration, and then still have the subject come out functional and normal during regrowth. Once it was found that all future patients going through this new process would be changed into essentially vaginas, the aggressive DNA targeted reduction and re-in-station therapy simply became coined "Vulvafication".
Later studies found (thankfully) that human female organs even had enough nerve density that the full complexities of the human consciousness could be maintained as the subjects were in their Vulvafied state and then restored at regrowth to 91.6%. No process is perfect and the subjects would have some slight memory loss during the procedure.
Thanks to generous funding and aggressive lobbying from a small west coast company called FemCorp, about three years ago the FDA had green-lighted Dr. Osterhagen to conduct a human trial of Vulvafication on terminally ill people. Jon and Karyn were vulvafied human subjects 15 and 16 respectively.
Dr. Osterhagen remembered that when Jon first heard about the Vulvafication procedure he had balked, just like all the others. Not surprisingly, no one believed the good doctor when he said that he could cure their illness, but only if they were fully transformed into the vagina and various other sex organs of a female host! But the skeptical and uncomfortable Jon was convinced by his parents to at least try it. Jon had enlisted his friend Karyn to volunteer to be his host. Sadly, during her pre-host medical examination it was found that she too had a different but equally terminal illness!
Now facing the process together, and with their window to get in the study running out Jon and Karyn found a new volunteer from their class, Sarah to be their host. With little time to spare, Dr. Osterhagen had no choice but to Vulvafy both Jon and Karyn and place them both into Sarah.
The vulvafication process isn't black magic so it is not instant of course, the subjects become female reproductive organs over time. Dr. Osterhagen had actually first administered the Vulvafication drug to both Jon and Karyn about three months ago. For the first month Jon and Karyn went about their lives normally as the changes to their bodies were only slight at first, mostly a loss of height and weight. By the start of the second month however, subjects are usually admitted into the care of Dr. Osterhagen as they functionally become less and less human but more and more human vagina. The second month has the patient's brain and sensory nerves spreading over their increasingly organ like bodies as they continue to shrink in mass. For the third month the patients are placed on life support as their vital organs give way to becoming reproductive organs and continue shrinking to the size of a normal female reproductive system.
The subjects cannot simply stay on life support for the whole duration of the process of course, so finally, when they were ready and had been fully reduced to nothing more than vaginas in jars Dr. Osterhagen contacted Sarah and had her come in for the integration process.
Dr. Osterhagen had never had to implant TWO conscious human vaginas into a single woman before, he hoped Sarah's odd phone conversation wasn't a sign that something had gone wrong...
