It took a few moments for it to sink in that he was flirting with me. The sudden realization left me a little bit flustered, but not as much as when I realized that I (Or at least my character) found him quite attractive.

"Umm, thanks anyway but I think I'll just take the bus." I stuttered.

"Ok." He laughed. "You have fun, and be careful. There's bad guys around every corner, literally. And not all of them just want to beat you up."

I thanked him once more and headed off to the bus. After I was on the bus and on my way to find Suzie I pulled out my MAP and looked around at my character. To my surprise I found that the Dancer class was actually a martial arts class for combat sake. I also realized from years of gaming that the Sage was right, I had a pretty damn good character!

The high dexterity gave me awesome bonuses in my attacks and defenses and the high constitution gave me a higher than normal hit points and great resistances to other things, like poison.

I also had a very high charisma too that helped my flirtation and seduction skills.

I then set about distributing my starting Skill Points. First I added one to each of my starting skills. That left me with 5 points left. Another one point each to hand to hand, small melee, small ranged, and Dance since those were my attack and defense powers. I agonized over the last point. I wanted to add it to one of my attacks or even to my defense but in the end I figured it would be better for me to put it on Seduction and Flirtation even though I never planned on using those powers. That way I would start out at level 2.

When I was finished distributing them I hit accept. I felt something but really wasn't too sure what. My surrounding just seemed different just different.

When I got off the bus in the Tree Gardens section of town a let myself slip into character again. I immediately began noticing what was different, me. My superb balance in the heels was even better. I felt I could walk in them as easily as I could walk barefooted. I also noticed the people around me more closely. I could tell who had money and who didn't just by looking at them. I noticed the weapons that they carried, armors, how good looking they were, just about everything.

I also noticed how many of them were checking me out. I was tempted to try out my flirtation skills on some of the men in the area, but only for a split second. I am a guy after all, no matter how sexy of a female body I was wearing.

My new skills, I realized, were not dumped into my brain. My mind was safe at home. The skills were in my character sitting at the back of her mind just waiting for me to draw on them.

Across the street I noticed a thuggish looking creature pushing around a young man. I saw a couple other players (I knew they were players but don't ask my how.) nearby but they seemed to be ignoring the incident. One, a tall elf, was chatting up some young female NPC elf and the other seemed to be studying his MAP.

I looked back over at the thug and surmised he was only around a level 2 or 3. I figured I could take him. As these thoughts entered my mind I found that I was running through my options with my skills.

I could pull out the blaster I now possessed and soot the guy from right here, whip out my fan and go at him hand to hand, or hell, I could even try to distract him with a little flirtation and then sucker punch him when he wasn't expecting it. The last was my least favorite option , but the most agreeable for my class. I would get big bonuses for damage and accuracy if he was highly distracted first.

Then, of course there was the other option, ignore it and go find Suzie. I was running late anyway.
