The world under Sarah's thumb

Karyn awoke in a street nearby her house. Graffiti was everywhere and the houses were on fire. "Oh no, how could this happen." She looked down to see the typical preppy clothing from her shcool. She could feel heavy amounts of makeup on her. A man walked to Karyn holding what appeared to be a gun.
"What are you doing out here? Get back to your cell!" The man dragged Karyn and threw her down a man hole. All around her were cells full of people such as nerds and the McMillan parents. She was pushed into one of the cells. About an hour later the man returned.
"What is going on here?" Karyn said a little dazed and confused.
"We have no reading on you. It was like you were erased from history. You must have tried to change your profile which is a criminal expense. But don't worry, read this." The man handed Karyn a flier with a picture of Sarah.
"This weekend the almighty Empress will be visting her home town. You are a lucky."
"How am I lucky for that bitch?"
The man slapped her."Do you not know? If someone who is incarcerated kisses the hand and bows before her, get rereleased back into the world."
"Oh." Upon further inspection, Karyn could see the stone in the center of the crown.
"This might be my only chance."
