In the Williams household sat Kyla Chevalier, she was missing her parents as well as her homeland of France. She had thought that it would be a great adventure to go over to the U.S.A. as an exchange student for a semester. It would let her see more of the world before she left school to go on to university but she had not realised how much she would miss her home. Only a couple of months to go and she would be going home. Yes, she would miss her new friends but not as much as she missed her home.
…..
Jon and Tina sat in Jon’s bedroom. “So was anyone replaced last night Jon? I can’t tell, Everyone seems more or less the same. At least they didn’t get me.” Tina informed her friend. “Not that I saw.” Jon lied to the girl that was meant to be his best friend. He didn’t like doing it but what else could he do? “Well, tonight there are two of us to watch for them. Where do you think we should look for them?” she asked him. Jon looked at her and thought for a moment. He was doing his best to treat her as if she was Karyn but it wasn’t the same. “Jon-Boy are you ok?” Tina asked “Yeah just a bit tried.” he replied. “As long as that is all it is,” Tina said to him with a grin that would not have looked out of place on Karyn’s face.
“I suppose we could try the Sanders House. I watched there last night but they didn’t show you.” Jon told her. Well, at least he wasn’t lying this time. “I take that someone is missing from there and it's someone I don’t remember,” Tina said. But before Jon could answer Sarah shouted from downstairs. “Tina your Mom called she wants you to come home. She said something about you not answering your phone again.” Tina looked at her phone and saw three missed calls. “I wonder what she wants this time? I will see you tonight Jon-Boy at the Sanders House so that we can find the people who are doing this and stop them.” Tina said as she headed downstairs.
Jon followed down behind her but was stopped by Sarah. “Hey, Jon now that your girlfriend is away what are you going to do this afternoon?” She asked him with a smirk on her face. “She is not my girlfriend.” He replied thinking of all the times that Zoe had said the same thing to him. Was it his imagination or was she not only looking like his former sister but was also acting like her as well? “Whatever you say. By the way, did you see Mom’s note she is going to be on the night shift for the next few days so we probably won’t see much of her again this weekend.” Sarah went on to tell him. “Well, she needs the money.” He told her as he turned back upstairs now that Tina had closed the door leaving the two of them arguing again. She was glad to be an only child sometimes.
