Jon finally made it to the Taylor place. Since Jenifer had more or less taken over the sleepover it had become a double hiding place for Karyn. Not only was she now surrounded by a crowd of girls but she was also not at her place.
To Jon, this was a good this as the blue-clad men would not only have to deal with a bunch of teenage girls but Karyn would not be where they would be looking for her so she would be safe. Would she? Then he remembered that he had seen the entire Meadows family being taken except for Biff so would a group of teenage girls pose that bigger a problem for them.
Jon’s heart was broken when he saw Karyn being carried out of the Taylor house in her nightdress and the new Red-headed Tina being carried in to replace her. Tina’s hair now looked exactly like Karyn’s had before her wish to get some of Sarah’s attention had been made.
That wish now seemed like years ago even though it had only been a few since she had made it. Jon sat there with his head in his hands, he had thought had been so clever to move Karyn but not clever enough.
He was shaken from his melancholy when he heard the engine of the vehicle in front of him start up. It was at that moment he made up his mind to follow it and rescue Karyn from his foes and restore her to her rightful place in the world.
