Sarah immediately ran to the locker room mirror. When she saw her new self she dropped to her knees and began sobbing. "Knock it off, Sarah, you had it coming," said Ethel, "and you'll get your looks back in less than two years-you'll be pretty again, which might be more than the people you changed will be. You're lucky I'm nice. Now try to learn something in the meantime..and I want..I wish you to stop crying, calm down, and go outside and act like nothing has happened." Sarah stopped crying, meekly got to her feet, and walked back into the gym. "Great job, Eth... I mean Karen." "I guess I'm still am Ethel, Jon, unless we can figure some way to reverse the wishes." "We'll figure it out, Ethel. Wish me into English class where I'm suppossed to be, then meet me at the pizza shop after school and we'll come up with something."
Ethel and Jon sat at a table, muching slices of pizza, while Ethel wrote on her notepad. "You really think these wishes I came up with will work, Jon?" she asked. "yeah Ethel, I think so. From what I know, they should. You can't really reverse the wishes, but you can modifiy them, and I think you worded everything carefully enough. Go ahead."
