"Come on, Jon. What the fuck are you waiting for? Let's get to the club like you wanted," Nadine said, impatiently.
"Hold on. I've got something to show you," Jon said, before turning around and going back inside his house. Athena and Nadine exchanged confused expressions. Out of all of them, Jon was the one who wanted to go to The Spiked Pit the most, so what could be so important to cause them to delay their plans? A moment later, he came back out. "I want you two to be the first to see this. After all, you're my closest friends," he said. He opened his hand and revealed the wishing stone to them.
As it turned out, Athena's pendant had done more than just shielded her from swapping with Jon. When Jon swapped with Sabrina, it somehow removed his awareness of the changes in reality. He now thought that he was normally supposed to be this way - a Goth punk boy. But no matter how different he was himself in this new reality, he still inherited the wishing stone from his grandfather. And now, he was allowing Nadine and Athena to know about it, and maybe even use it.
"A fucking stone?" Nadine asked. "That's what you wanted to show us?"
"It's more than a stone. It can grant wishes," Jon said. He could see that Nadine was skeptical, whereas Athena was intrigued. "Here, let me show you. I wish ..."
