Turret gave me what I needed. I got in one of the cabs from the depot and drove off towards the desert. When I got there, I walked around the grounds for a bit. Several members of the clergy noticed that I was there and came up to me. They wanted me for something. Dragging me over to the office, I saw that they had a map. They were having trouble getting into contact with the rest of the church faithful in Ether. It seemed that we would actually have to go back there and tell them about what we had found. Once we did that, we would have more travel between the main Ether server and this one. It would be funny to see all the Players and NPCs of various races coming here. The government might actually turn their attention to trying to purge the colonists from the continent. They also wanted to build more temples here on the continent. It made sense. We wanted to spread our reach and influence. That meant allowing ourselves to get new real estate. It would just be a matter of the money. We already had lots of followers all over the map. They would come worship in the new temples.

Our numbers had been whittled down from that fateful day on the beach. There were hardly any of us left. Those that remained were not sailors, so we would not be able to make it back. Even if we had a boat, we had no way of navigating the rough seas between servers. I doubted that any cyborg would willingly leave the influence of the transmission hubs. PEP units would certainly die. There were no electrical outlets to be found in Ether. Once their last energy generator died, that would be it for them. If it was any other unit, they could make it. PEA units had solar power and AEP units could eat food. Those became 2 separate questlines in my menu. I really did not feel like doing either at the moment. I told them that I wanted to be left alone to pray. They understood and let me pass. I went to one of their middle pews and looked around me. It was a really nice church that we used as the model for the temple. Using money to buy the space to put more churches up would be way to solve the questline easiest. It would also be pretty quick as we could get the builders to make them right away.

Just waiting there was a bit boring. Luckily, there were several Masses put together by the clergy. They really did not have much else to do at the moment. It only took 5 in-game days for 01 and 03 to come find me. It was in the middle of another Mass. There were people and cyborgs from Lightning Clan and their community. Our clergy did not seem to care much about their backgrounds. As long as they were members of the faith. The more robophobic members of the clergy valued human faithful more than they valued the cyborgs, but that was to be expected. They walked in and sat directly behind me. They were going to have to wait. As a paladin in good standing, I was expected to help with the healing for the members that were injured. Standard practice was 1 free heal per week. After that, you needed to pay. I could even heal the cyborgs because I have some large energy generators still on me. After Mass, I was helping with the heals. 01 and 03 were being very impatient. It made me smirk, but I did do my best to speed the process along. When I was finally done, I turned back to them.
