Clearly, they were trying to take the cyborgs out and exterminate them all. It did not matter the region or faction of the transmission hub. The unaligned PEP units still had tasks to do. It was a double edged sword for them. The risk to their personal safety was through the roof. That meant that while it was very likely that they would die, the rewards would be extremely high if they made it. Eventually, 02 and Shepard came back to us with the XX-frame in the huge truck like last time. Humans left while they installed it in the hangar. The members of the Foundry staff said that they would not be able to make it back. The blockade and scrutiny from the military men in our town made it impossible to go back without risk of being followed. It was fine with us. We could put them in our apartments across the street. The clergy had vacated it a long time ago. A couple days later, another shipment came to us from the Foundry. A pair of AEP units from Water Clan had been diverted towards us. Heat Clan abandoned the hangar after the third raid on it. It was completely bombed. Ours was the only one left.

Since they were here, we could not turn them away. They installed the second XX-frame in the hangar. Their staff members also could not return to their Foundry due to fears of being compromised. There was still plenty of space for them to live in the apartment complex. I was told that there was another shipment due to arrive here, but it could not because there was no longer any hangar space for it. A hangar could only house 2 XX-frames. The point of having them was to fly them into space. There was a 10 minute cooldown between each launch. I told them to send the third XX-frame here anyway. "All 3 will be launching, one right after the other anyway." They did not agree with me. Protocol was protocol. However, Paul and Brett had other ways of convincing them. They just modified their opinion and diplomatic modifiers through the roof to get them to agree to essentially anything that they wanted. They were coming over soon. It would take them a while to get through all of the confusion and blockades. I asked how they got pass the blockade. Apparently, they could hack scanners.

On the third time that a truck from the Foundry came, the humans got wise to it. The patched all the holes in their security and forced a manual search of the cargo at the town limit. The members of the Foundries were all hulks of a cyborg. They were also the most well trained and equipped for combat. They were able to blast a large hole through the blockade and ram the trucks through. Once they got to us, it was go time. PBJ Clan had to hold off the military until the members of the Foundry could install the third XX-frame. The Water Clan XX-frame was already out of its place as it was going up into space first. They were currently getting ready. We were going to fight them off. Luckily the other 4 members of the Foundry were still here. That made things go 3 times as fast as normal for them. That was good. Skylar was the only cyborg officer in the clan. Because I needed to integrate my squad into the clan, I gave all them officer positions too. Sunny was Launching Officer, in charge of all the launching sequences. Lucy was Communications Officer. She was on intercom. Zayne was Marshal.

His job was to corral everyone in the hangar and in the clan building. Making sure that people were where they needed to be was extremely important. Because we had so many officers in the command center, we could let them launch while we were fighting the military in the streets. Even without us there, they could handle it. I was taking on several military commandos with my cheat rifle when the ground began to shake violently. We saw the large XX-frame from Water Clan rise up in the distance with the fire from their rockets trailing behind them. Sunny had instructed them to just go straight up into the sky. We did not have time to waste being fancy. It also was not wise to give the enemy time to try shooting it down. A few minutes later, we were joined on the field of battle by the Foundry staff members. They tore through all the commandos like they were wearing tissue paper. With them, it did not take too much longer to clear them out. That gave us all the time we needed to go down into the clan building and then in the passageway leading to the hangar. We watched the launches.
