He then smirked. Before I could ask him about it, I was launched 14 feet back. I saw that both shotguns were sticking out of his ass. Both of the barrels were smoking as he looked over his shoulder. "You were right. Humans never see that coming. Even a stronger human gets crippled when hit with this surprise attack." 03 said. It was a perfect storm. It was using golden nanites, it was an incendiary round and it was a stealth attack. Half of all my health was gone. I was still on fire and taking damage as I rolled on the floor to put it out. This fight really was not over. The fire was out, but he was ready with another shot from his bolt rifle. It it me right between the eyes. I was now in critical health as well. "You are a monster, Brianne." 03 said with an excited smile on his face. "You literally are not human." I said to him as I held my head. I was bleeding heavily. I was going to need my rifle. I lost it and did not see it. He caught my eyes and saw it first. It was behind him and close to the door. I would not make it. I called down a pillar of fire. He dodged it and fired his arm. I dodged it too. His organ fired.
Dodging the sonic blasts were difficult. I could see them coming, but they were fast and had a large blast radius. I was shooting him with beams of light in return. He was also trying to not get hit by them. This battle was going to be decided on who could land a big hit first. I was trying to get him while dodging. I was getting used to their pattern until he shot with his arm again. I had to dodge flat-footed. I hopped back and realized that I was in a corner. I was trapped by 03. He was heaving and breathing heavy. "Running low on energy!? We can always drop this and go get lunch." I offered with a nervous smile. "Don't worry about me. I have enough energy in me for my final move. I will be sure to feed you after I bring you back to my clan." he said. His sonic organ receded into his chest. His plasma cannon appeared. "You better give me your best shot. I'm not the type to go down with anything else than your best." I said in order to bluff. I wanted some time to think. He narrowed his eyes. "You are right. I owe you a blast at full power after hiding that creature." 03 agreed. He began to charge it.
The glow brightened up and turned orange, yellow and green before he gasped out loud and adjusted his stance a bit. He was running near empty before this. Releasing the blast would probably take everything he has left. I just sighed and let him continue to charge up the blast. I was waiting for an opening. He really wanted to have the most impressive win over me. How else will he be able to say he conquered me? The light of the plasma cannon turned blue and then purple. When it darkened to black, the AEP unit began panting even more. The golden cannon rattled violently. "You better get ready. This isn't all I can do!" The roar got even louder as the hole got slightly bigger. Black plasma was leaking again as he panted. "Get ready to die. 3... 2..." he counted down. Before he could finish it, I stomped my feet. Another destructive wave came his way. He was able to get off the blast before it hit him. He was too focused on over charging his cannon to do anything. He failed the check and was knocked out. The bits of plasma that shot out of his cannon hit me head on. It knocked me out too.
