My magic was already at the end of the tree. Usually, I just used simple spells. It was time to show 03 how good of a paladin I could be. Holy weapon was a good choice for this fight. I imbued my cheat rifle with some holy power. Until the spell ended, the gun emitted bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. In addition the bullets dealt an extra amount radiant damage on a hit. If the weapon is not already a magic weapon, it becomes one for the duration. Because it was doing a lot more damage, it was able to dent his armor. He was shocked. "How are you doing that to me!?" he demanded. I did not tell him. Why would I!? It was still not enough to get through the armor. It was time to switch up. I could dismiss the spell and cause the weapon to emit a burst of radiance. 03 had to make a big Constitution saving throw. It was too sudden, so he failed the save. 03 took radiant damage, and he was blinded for 6 seconds. "My optic connections! Are you hacking me!?" he shouted in pain as he covered his eyes. I had to make use of their confusion. It would take time to fix.
Another spell I could use was Devastating Wave. I stomped on the ground, creating a burst of divine energy that ripples outward from me. 03 had to succeed on another massive Constitution saving throw or take some thunder damage, as well as radiant damage, and be knocked prone. He was still blinded so it came out of nowhere for the vulnerable AEP unit. 03 got hit and knocked over. He looked up at me as 03 fixed his eyes. It was not too hard as he did not have human eyes. They were all nanite connections. They could always be replaced as long as 03 had decent health and energy remaining. Now that I had him on the ground, I pounced on the opportunity and stomped on his back. I was shooting him in the head. He was not getting too damaged without the big radiant energy boost, but 03 was now at half health. He rolled over and swept my bad leg with one of his. I fell on my back and hit the ground hard. He punched me in the ribs before I could roll away from him. It really hurt. 03 used the opportunity to mount me. The AEP unit straddled my legs and held both of my arms above.
His eyes sparkled brightly down at me. "I win. I beat you, Brianne." he said in glee. I looked up at him in confusion. "Wait. How do you figure that? It felt that we were still fighting." I said. He rolled eyes and adjusted his body over my hips. "You might be special, but you're still a human. I'm mounting you with a tight grip on your wrists. My weight is on your center of gravity." he explained. He ground his hips down on me just to rub it in. "You are disarmed and we'll be here all day until you submit to me. You can't buck me." 03 gloated. I tried to move my wrists. He was using the strength from his impact organs. I could not get them away. He was too heavy for me to get him off my body either. I looked up at him. "You do know that I still have my magic, right?" I asked. His sonic organ appeared out of his chest. "I have my sonic organ and my plasma cannon too. We can go back and forth, but your body is going to give out before mine will. Especially at this close range." he replied. 03 was just waiting for me to give up. I needed some big help. I had one more strong spell to help me out. I casted it.
