All the PEA units that I sent to guard the church in the desert formed their own clan. That was cool of them. It was a common goal of theirs to explore not only human faith but the results of the blessings of the god of the sky. It was an unavoidable fact that he had the power to influence the cyborgs even while not on the continent. Not only were their sexual upgrades enhanced, they also were now able to do holy magic as strong paladins. That was concerning for them. They all also had the charge of protecting the church from anyone that would do harm. Making a new clan together was not that surprising. They had no money, but they did have a barracks that was place off of the grass campus. Paul built it to house them. They were not coming back to our clan building, so they needed to stay somewhere. That solved the need for a clan building. None of them had the money or resources to actually make a separate main hall or PEA Lab however. The zealous members preached at them to make them understand their religion. All the robophobic members did not trust them and watched.

We had sent 20 of them. 10 were male. 10 were female. Since they were being sent out, it was a courtesy to give them all their sexual upgrades. I did this using my own authority as the clan engineer of PBJ Clan. They were not in any clan, but we had the most developed lab at the time. The transmission hub therefore deemed that all of the PEA units born in the region to PEP units not in a clan with a lab would be sent to us to look after for them. I was therefore the custodian of them until they were given to a clan. With 0 missions completed, it would start filled with black memory nanites, but they would be sterile with 0% chance of forming a chip. The blessing gave them a 10% bonus. It made their upgrades fill with up the white nanites. They still had not completed any missions, but they always would have at least a 10% chance of making a memory chip. Once they finished the 15th mission, it would jump to 15%. Every mission after that would make the success chance raise by 2%. They could take missions from the transmission hub if they could get away from the clergy long enough.

There was nothing else of note that happened that month up until the launch was to take place. Everyone in the coalition, even all the minor clans in each of the regions that were constituent members, were going to go over to the launch site in the Heat Clan territory. We were going to make a large caravan as a show of force on behalf of our liege, Cold Clan. Sky and Stretch's clan, Keith's Clan, Clan Re:Birth and PBJ Clan were all going. We had a big bus, vans and multiple cabs. We were making all the streets clogged. We were following all the traffic laws, so no one could really do anything about it. When we finally got there, Heat Clan was ready to receive us. They were great hosts. Just like I had proposed, there was a small path the led from the edge of the cleared beach to where the area led to a man made tunnel with a gate. All of us were amazed by the design and their intimidating feeling. That gate was manned by a Heat Clan member. We all we let in and got to see the inside. Ours would not be ready until the next day. It was a good preview for what was to come. We'd need to wait.
