Both Water and Magnetic Clan had new representatives from the last time. I knew Magnetic 04 was not going to reprise the role. It was a surprise from Water Clan. Their representatives looked cool enough. I had not met either of them before, so they must have been just recently born. We got to dance and party for a bit. The 2 coalition representatives got to bathe in the praise from the entire coalition. The general came up to me on the dancefloor. It did not look like he was all to happy to be here. I greeted him warmly. I stumbled forward when he slapped me on the back. "Brianne! Just the person that I was looking for." he said. I just looked at him and said "Jeez. I could have fell. Moderate your strength around friends, okay!?" I snapped at him. He looked at me and said "I'm glad you say that. Friends tell friends secrets. Let's go share some." He then dragged me off to the stairwell. No one was there. "Alright, why are we here?" he asked. "What are you talking about!? You just dragged me over here." I said. "Do not be a smartass. This coalition meeting. Why?" he asked again. I sighed.
I told him about the progress that we had been making. It was better to get his bitching out of the way. He looked at me and sighed. "I'm sure that I told you guys that we would not allow you to do this." he said. I shrugged. "And I let you know that this is ingrained in their programming. They are not going to stop trying. You should be lucky the coalition is led by Advocates. Even the Researchers that come through will have to take humanity seriously and not hurt us." He grabbed me by the collar. "Where the hell is the Foundry!?" he demanded. I said "I'm human. They kick me out of the clan building when they install the X-frames. They won't tell me where it is. I think that there are multiple of them too." The general let me go. I smoothed out my clothing. He said "I also know what you're doing behind the scenes. You've been leaking intel to Wind Clan and Void Clan." I nodded. "Yeah. We've not had a single skirmish from them since we started." "And Impact Clan!?" he probed. "I have no clue what Impact is doing. They should have done something about us by now." The general just smirked.
He said "Don't worry about them. We've handled it." Asking him more about it, they took them out already. Using what they had learned from the huge battles with both the Toxic and Radiation Clans, they were able to locate the final site of resistance. The Impact transmission hub was then surrounded and raided with the strongest humanity had to offer. They eradicated all the members of the clan and destroyed everything trying to get their way to the transmission hub. Once it was discovered, they put it under strict guard. That solved that mystery. "You used the information from the coalition to help find it. Maybe that should tell you something." I said, crossing my arms. "All it tells me is that 2 factions teamed up to chase goals that will put humanity in a bad position. Crushing the most hostile faction to us is not the olive branch you think it is when they attack them just as easily as us." the general said. "Only because they want to work with humans." I replied. "Not on this planet." he said. "What if they settled another planet!?" I asked. He shrugged. "As long as they leave humans alone."
