The very next day, Erosion Clan submitted their blueprints for the power core. Their clan engineer made slight modifications to my design here and there, but the general idea and layout were all mine. That was still totally fine with me. It would be harder to tell that I was giving them everything now. I sent those finished plans off to the Void and Wind Clans. This is what I had promised them to keep the peace. I was not going to help them fund or build any of it for themselves. The last thing that we needed was for them to bring their progenitors here. They would obviously immediately start trying to take over the continent. The last piece of the XX-frames that we needed to get for construction were the systems. Surprisingly, that was submitted only 2 in-game weeks later. Lightning Clan took the full credit for this. The more tech savvy humans of their compound helped the clan cyborgs in designing it for the coalition. Apparently some of them were disgraced engineers before they had to hide from the larger society. Some for very good reasons, others were not. I sent all of those over as well.

With that, the XX-frames could be constructed at the Foundry. We needed a hangar for storage, a launch pad for sending them into space and a pair of AEP units to pilot it. The 3 clans that had yet to contribute anything to the project were Water, Heat and Magnetic. Because I was in the Researcher faction, my loyalties were to them first and foremost. I wired over the money for construction to Heat Clan. They had not other option but to volunteer to build the giant hangar and launch port. "I think that the beach that you cleaned up would be a very good spot. If you place it just outside of the safe zone, the humans of the area won't have to get hurt by wandering over there without knowing what is happening with the coalition." I offered the idea. The leader thought it was excellent. They pledged to do that for the coalition. Now, the Water and Magnetic Clans were going to have to choose an AEP unit each to represent them when they go into space. Ursula forbid 04 from going because he was going to need to be with her as she raises the hybrid child she was carrying. That made total sense.

Erecting a hangar was not a problem at all. As the clan engineer, I could have it done from the main hall. It was going to take a ton of money and resources, but it would be automatically built fully equipped to store up to 2 of the giant XX-frames. The launch port was attached to the hangar and it had one launch pad. The construction time was 1 week in-game. To function, we needed to create a whole new floor to our clan building and fill it with generator rooms. That took another 2 weeks. While we were waiting for it, I decided to gather all the AEP units together in the lab. I was going to raffle off the 4 positions for the 2 XX-frames we would be building. 09-003 and 02 were not welcomed by the others. They were from the Conqueror faction. The others decided that they might try to hijack the XX-frame if given the chance. There was also the point that 02 was a deviant and 09-003 was known to be a prisoner. I said "I'm the clan engineer and I've personally given them both full membership. They are equally worth of the position. Now let's move on. If you can't stand it, you can leave the lab."
