As for the battle, it was clearly self defense. The only crime that he could possibly have stick to him was resisting arrest. Their hostile female AEP ranted and raved about how it was their right to kill humans as they were inferior to her and her clan in every single way. She was not getting any sympathy from the tribunal. The tribunal was being adjudicated by a judge and a panel of military officers that had to deal with cyborg attacks on the regular. They were not an unbiased crowd. Because that incident happened first chronologically, it was the one of major focus for now. They accepted the recordings from all 4 members of Sonic Clan that entered the bank. They refused to consider taking testimony from any humans. Tommy had to defend himself by answering all their questions. The general made him divulge all the secrets of the war between Researchers, Advocates and Conquerors. Tommy swore that he was not one of the Conquerors. He killed many of them. The tribunal had everything they needed to charge them with what they wanted. Tommy got a charge for resisting arrest.

It was way less time than he had served, so he was free to go home to Sonic Clan. The lawyer would also be allowed to join them as well. They were really happy about a victory for the cyborgs. The judge called the court to order and they silenced themselves quickly. It was time for the other results. The female toxic AEP unit had the book thrown at her and she was sentenced to death by firing squad. The court then adjourned itself for the day. The next day would begin with her execution and the next round of the trial. The sentence was final and could not be appealed. It was the end. She was deathly quiet at that point. It was probably sinking in at that point. The once proud Conqueror faction of Toxic Clan would die with her as she was the last one. The next phase of the trial was about the battle over the Radiation transmission hub. I looked at the others. "All's well that ends well. I'm glad that justice is being served." I said as I stood up. Tommy being released was a good thing. Even if I hated what the clan leader did, Tommy was a really good guy. A tsundere, but he was there for us.

Not even an hour after the broadcast went off, another breaking news segment began. We rushed back to see what happened. Tommy and his lawyer were under attack on the steps of the base he was being held at for trial. A squad of 6 black clad commandos were after him. They had thick gear and earpieces to block out all outside sounds. The newsman said it was some terrorist force from the Phobia Syndicate. Tommy was no slouch. He was a veteran of a war. He also had weapon upgrades and golden nanites. I could not believe what I was seeing. He and the lawyer were trying to escape them. I saw that the military was not trying to help. That was odd seeing that it was on one of their bases. It was then that other members of Sonic Clan came to the rescue. Timmy, Tammy and Temmy destroyed the syndicate squad. They then drove off together in a blue van. All of them were free. I was very happy for them. I took out my phone and called Temmy. "Thank goodness you guys are all alright." I said when he picked up. "The PEA unit did not make it. Critical damage to internal organs."

That was sad to hear. He had done such a good job. They still had to make it back home before it was declared a successful mission. I stayed on the line with all of them until they got home. When they did, I wished them well and hung up. It was Temmy that called me back. "The greatest thing ever happened, Brianne! You won't believe it!!" "Did one of our kids complete a mission?" I asked. He paused. "That would be nice, but no. They are a bit too young for me to consider putting them in the field." he said. "What happened?" I asked. "Our transmission hub decided to bless us for our hard work on the mission!! We got the general blueprints for the XX-frame!" he cheered happily. I was genuinely happy for him. He put in serious work during that fight and escape. "Listen Temmy. I need you to send me a copy of those blueprints." I said seriously. "Uh... Brianne. I can't. I'm not the clan engineer. I'm not able to access them in the lab." "Can you at least try asking if you could fabricate them? This is really important. I don't want our kids chosen for the hard work of building the hangar here."
