Before we could go home, we had to go to the club. 09-003 was my prisoner and I had to take custody of him. We got a car and Cameron drove us to make sure that we got there in one piece. Once there, I saw 6 men clad in black going into the club. Alex and the other AEP units were upset. I asked them what they were doing. "These men are from the government. They have a fully signed off letter from the general saying they are taking 09-001 and 003." I scoffed and said "09-003 is mine. I will take care of it now." I hurried up to the lounge. I looked over at the Radiation AEP units. Running over to 09-003, I said "Hurry guys! You have to change your appearance and come with me!" Both of them were pissed off to see me. "I'm not going anywhere with a stupid human like you after you stole my clan from us! I hate you. You took over our own transmission hub." 09-003 said angrily. I really did not have time for this. "Goons from the human government are trying to take you guys away. Change up your appearance at the very least." I told them seriously. They looked really shocked to hear that.
It was not the time to sugarcoat it. I needed to get through to them. They shared a look before changing their appearance. I did not know what the point of 09-001 doing it was. He was in the prison tube. Just then, the 6 government men came up the stairs. I grabbed 09-003 by the arm and dragged him towards the stairwell. "Get off of me right now, Brianne!" the shocked AEP unit yelled in my ear. I winced and just kept us going down the stairs. "It's time to go home and let all their stuff happen." He was not able to pull away from me because I was so strong. We made it outside the club and I shoved him in the back of the car. I got in too. Cameron drove off really quickly so they would not come after us. We could not engage them in a big battle. I had no clue what the general had in mind, but if he really thought he could just come in and take what was mine, he had another thing coming. 09-003 was really pouty until we got to the clan building. I opened the door for him and led him inside. He was given a dose of the golden nanites and allowed to download their weapon upgrades in the AEP lab.
