Time passed and it was the day of the second meeting. There was a back entrance to the club. I told the Sonic Clan to spread the word that the back entrance would be the only way for the PEP units to access the safehouse in this time. Otherwise, it was going to be closed to the general public. Everyone filed in throughout the day. Their options for entertainment were the surviving entertainers. That was still a pretty good show to be fair. Drinks and food were free and constantly coming by. Like I had expected, it was a full house. Everyone had returned and more joined in. The investigators were joined by their boss. The general had his staff with him. Two strategists and a quartermaster that he really trusted above all his other men were behind him. Once everyone was in and accounted for, we sealed the front doors. No one else was getting in. The Sonic Clan leader took the stage and began the meeting. Each of us got to introduce ourselves. Then we got down to the brass tacks of the situation at hand. We had to determine what all the member clans were supposed to do for our goals.
Every human against cyborgs fought tooth and nail when disagreeing with the new assignments from Sonic Clan. First it was that Wind Clan was too dangerous as a big component of the Conqueror faction to even be here as we spoke. Then it was that Researcher faction clans did not have humanity's best interest at heart. Finally, the most bold and extreme said that they wanted the Advocate faction clans to simply go away and scrap the project altogether. The Wind Clan obviously was not going to take such disrespect lying down. That argument alone took over half an hour before Sonic Clan could regain control of the meeting. Things were not going well. I decided to try my hand at this. I got on stage and signaled the clan leader. She nodded to me and then said "Our chief of security, Brianne has something to say." I stepped out in front over everyone. "We have a lot of differences. I'm a human among cyborgs. There are Conquerors, Advocates and Researchers here. Then there are the syndicates and government representatives. It's really hard to trust others. I get it." I opened with calmly.
Looking out at them, I could see them look back at me. "It looks like there might be a chance for the coalition to flex it's muscles with the gathered outside help from all of you guys." The humans in the crowd looked at me with confusion. "Yesterday, we received a surprise guest. One that I felt warranted a bit of... flexibility when it came to our self defense. That is why weapons were not confiscated today." I said. I then got out my walkie-talkie. "Bring down our guest. The officers can continue to monitor the prisoner." I instructed. A few minutes later. 09-003 was escorted down by the PBJ Clan AEP units. Everyone not already in the know gasped as He came on stage with me. "You may remember the escape of the Radiation Clan AEP unit, 09-003. I have taken him in my custody to say something I think need our immediate attention." The humans settled down a bit to listen. 09-003 scowled at the gathering. "I hate you all." I nudged him and said "Tell them what you told me yesterday. About your clan." He grunted and began recounting the story in detail. This retelling had a lot more descriptions in.
Whoever did it sent a mega assassin to slaughter them. Once the story was finished, he looked at the crowd angrily. "We do not need to assign responsibility for who did all this-" was all I got before I was I was interrupted. "No way, human! I'm going to kill every last human that did this to my clan!" he yelled. I rolled my eyes. "09-003, you are a guest and the only other surviving member of your clan. If you die here, 09-001 has not use to us either. It will be the actual end of your clan. I need you to calm down." I told him. He was furious and glared at me. When he realized that I was not going to budge or be intimidated, he settled down. Adrian, Aaron, Caleb, Cameron and Charlie led him back up. Wendy and Brenden stayed behind. "This is a great opportunity for us. We can all use this to strengthen the bonds of trust between us. If a big exercise would help us learn to trust each other, this is the thing that can do it." I proposed to the group. The seemed confused. "Let's take the transmission hub and give it to Advocates. We will need the government to clear the way and syndicates to guard."
