Seeing that they were stuck, Anna decided to press the issue. "If you already are dating someone, I understand it. People are pairing up a lot now that the test results are in. Especially omegas." she said. Both of them flinched at that. She purposefully blinked and looked surprised. It was all a game. "Oh, do you guys know any omegas?" she asked them. Blake was quick to say "No! We don't." Colby nodded furiously. Anna shrugged her shoulders. "I guess you haven't seen any of the major match making happen because you guys are so busy on the roof." she teased. They gave her nervous laughter back. Anna smiled charmingly and asked "So how about it, Colby!? Can we go on a date after school today!?" It really was not in his best interest to just turn me down point blank. His ass was literally on the line. Colby rubbed the back of his head nervously. "I guess you can come with me to the roof and look around. What homeroom are you in?" he said. The twins were in class 3-10. She was in 3-6. Like promised, they picked her up during lunch. Anna took Colby's arm as we went up the stairs.
When they got there, there were quite a few members of the gang already on the roof. It was easy for her to see that the boys were starring at her. Anna made sure that she stuck close to Colby. Who knew what they might try with her if they got separated from each other? Colby was a man of honor and his best to stand between them. It was a brave move. Anna's opinion of him rose a little bit because of that. The twins were the ones on the market here. The delinquents were all waiting for everyone to arrive. The seniors were the last to get to the roof. Samuel looked at everyone to get a full count of the gang. When he saw Anna and the twins, he looked confused, but continued his count. Logan was glaring at them. "Before we begin, we have to address something. The twins have a girl with them." the leader said. Everyone looked at the trio. Colby said "This is Anna. She asked me to take her out." "Colby's pretty cool. I wanted to ask before other people tried to get with him." Anna said. Some of their fellow members chuckled. Samuel looked at him and said "Well!? You like Anna, or what!?"
Anna took the initiative. She tightened her grip on Colby's arm. "Colby already said yes to us going out. Today is our first lunch date." she said boldly. It was a half truth. It was true that Colby invited her here on the roof. That was for a trial run. Whether he wanted to keep her as a girlfriend probably depended on how this date went. Both of the twin's eyes went wide at the bold declaration. Anna was not holding anything back here since she knew what she wanted. Samuel smirked and looked at the others for a second. It was clear he was hiding something. If she did not already know the secret, she would be getting concerned. "Isn't that cute? Did he tell you the results of his test? What are yours?" he asked her. "I am a beta. I don't care what Colby is. I thought that he was cool before results were given." "Even if he's an omega!?" Samuel shot back at her. Anna had to pause. "Yeah. I guess so!?" Anna said. That got a lot of weird looks. No one was expecting that a beta female to still want to be around an omega male. Colby and Blake were shocked too. Anna was not going to back down here.
Holding her ground was all that she could really do. She was only level 1. There was no way she was going to be able to take out all of them if a fight broke out. Samuel sighed deeply as he shrugged. "Let her have her fetish. It is time to get to the bottom of the situation we found ourselves in last time. Us seniors passed on them. Have the new alphas come to an agreement over which one they'll take?" he asked, ignoring her presence now. Anna looked over to see where they were. Liam and Benjamin both stood up. They had been surrounded with the underclassmen supporters they managed to gather. Liam said "I can take Blake. We have history together going back to elementary school." Blake seemed to agreed from how he nodded his head. Samuel looked at the other young alpha. "Is that okay with you, Benjamin?" he asked. He said "I'll take Colby then. No reason to fight each other over something like this." It was then that Anna said "Colby is already taken." An unsettling hush spread over the gathered crowd of rowdy high school boys. They had probably forgotten she was still there.
