Xia found herself in a foreign country lost and emotional. She was on her solo vacation to the US with her security detail. Her parents were always busy, but she didn't expect them to make time for her. That's when she got a surprise call from them. She didn't want to get her hopes up, but maybe they'd could be together as a family for a bit. When they gave her news of her newly acquired fiancé, she was less than thrilled.
Her bodyguards were cornering her she could see the headlights of cars starting to converge on her position. With no where to go, she climbed up a nearby tree to see an open window nearby. Leaping across from the tree into the house, she heard her bodyguards swear when they thought they had found her.
Jon, sick, was sleeping deeply that night. Xia found a sick looking boy in a bed, when suddenly heard the door slowly open. Not wanting to be found out, she snuck into the bed next to the boy. Zoe attempting to sneak into the room starting to make her way to Jon's bed, when her mom woke up from the noise outside and decided to check up on her son.
"ZOE." an angry voice whispered.
Zoe looked back sheepishly at her mom. Grabbed by her arm Zoe was dragged out of Jon's room. Xia let out a sigh of relief. Sometimes, she wished that there was someone she could truly relate to and trust. Exhausted, she fell asleep next to Jon. Jon's body started to change that night shrinking while his hair was growing and getting darker.
