"Uh, Sarah could you leave the room for a minute?" Jon asked hesitantly.
"Why," Sarah asked Leonard's friend with narrowed eyes, "you trying to change something you don't want me knowing you've changed?"
Jon rubbed a horn nervously, "not exactly; it's just kind of complicated and kind of personal."
Leonard looked over to his girlfriend, "If you could just step out for a moment, babe, I promise I won't let him change anything about you without calling you into consult."
Sarah pouted, but reluctantly left the room. Even if she didn't trust Jon fully, she trusted Leonard and knew her boyfriend wouldn't let his pal change anything that would mess with Sarah, though she did wonder what deep seated wish Jon was being so secretive about. Her blonde tail swished as she made her way up the stairs, heading for the bathroom to check her makeup, since she had a minute. She'd reapplied it rather hastily after practice and she wanted to make sure she was still looking her best for her man. A genius like Leonard was an incredibly valuable mate and Sarah was naturally quite possessive of him.
Around a half an hour later Sarah got a text form Leonard that it was okay to return and she made her way back down to the basement lab. Everything was as she remembered it, but then again it would be, right? Nevertheless she couldn't help peering around the room looking to see if she noticed any differences. The only thing that seemed odd was Janet going between touching her forehead and touching her tail in a bit of wonderment; maybe the other girl had gotten Leonard to change her hair color? As far as Sarah could remember Janet had always had that beautiful glossy chestnut brown hair, but her friend seemed to be focusing on those regions in a way that had her a little suspicious.
Really she didn't understand why Janet had asked her to leave the room in the first place, considering they usually trusted one another implicitly. Janet Madison and Sarah McMillan had been best friends basically since diapers, and were frequently joined at the hip. Hell, the two girls were even co-captains of the cheerleading team. Sarah really didn't understand what Janet could have wanted to change that she didn't want Sarah to hear; it wasn't like Sarah was going to get jealous of the other girl around Leonard. Even though Janet was the only other girl in school Sarah thought could challenge her for the title of most attractive, she knew she didn't have anything to worry about since Nettie was a lesbian.
No one knew exactly for sure why same sex attraction was so much more common in women, around one in four, than men, but it was arguably a helpful evolutionary development. Straight women could get very territorial around their men, particularly if they were highly intelligent, but would have no such issues with their gay sister. Indeed, it wasn't uncommon for straight girls and lesbians to become close friends, as Sarah and Janet had, in part because there was no overlap in targets. Sarah knew Janet wouldn't try to steal Leonard from her in the same way Janet knew Sarah would never try to steal Lily from her.
Still, Janet was acting a little strange, so Sarah gave her a good hard look. The 5'4 girl was a little shorter than Sarah herself, but was making up for it with a pair of 3 inch white wedge heel sandals. She'd also changed after practice and was wearing a white mini shirt with gold accents, a purple pussybow blouse, and purple ribbons in her own hair and around her tail, a simple pair of pearl earrings and a necklace completed the look. She and Sarah actually mirrored each other's outfits a bit, but that was hardly unusual. Janet's breasts didn't look any bigger, around a C-cup, and you'd think if she'd wished those bigger she'd have matched Sarah's Ds.
"Okay, I give up. What did you change, Janet?"
