Hearing that, she said "Then you better come over here and show these 2 the proper technique." That got him really off his game. "Wha-what!? No fucking way!" he said in shock as he leaned back from Alice. She then looked over at the cousins. "How about it then? she asked." Tommy leaned over to whisper to Liam. "I think we should do it. I mean, at least for a bit." she heard. Liam was shocked. He did not bother stifling his voice as he said "Are you insane!? She has a horse's ass!" Tommy flinched and said "You know what the others say about having partners, right? We can at least see if the rumors are true." Alice blinked. "What's the rumor?" she asked. Neither of them wanted to say. Jack sighed and said "Losers! The rumor is that fucking helps with your synchronization rates when it comes to the 150 foot class mechas." Alice shrugged. "I have no clue if it's true or not. I am not a pilot candidate, clearly. You can test it out on me if you want." she said. All 3 of them were thinking hard on it. Jack was the first one to get up and smile at her. "I'm not getting anywhere on my own. I'm in."
Tommy quickly said "We're in too!" Liam looked at his cousin in shock. "What!? Do not speak for me here!" he shouted. Alice looked at the brown haired boy. "You really don't want to be my boyfriend?" she asked him one last time. It did not matter to Alice what he chose. She already had Jack and Tommy. Liam looked at her and then closed his eyes as he groaned. It was apparently a really tough decision. "Fine! I guess I'm in this too then." he said at last. Alice smiled at them. "How about we all meet here in 2 days from now?" she offered. "You're the only one that will be missing." Jack pointed out. "Good. I'll come over and then we'll all go somewhere nice on campus together." she continued. They all nodded their heads. "Bye bye." was all Alice said as she left them in the classroom. It was almost time for her melee combat class. On the way there Alice saw someone run towards her. Doing that was a good way to get trampled. In order to not get blamed for an injury, she stopped and waited for them to approach. She soon saw it was Arthur Grayjoy. He looked angry. Darell was not there.
It was not a good sign of things to come. "It's finally time to put you in your place, you bitch!" she yelled as he drew his sword. Alice put up a ward and watched him as he attacked it. He tried to take it down, but she was not going to let it go. When Arthur tired out, that was when the counterattack came. Arthur let his guard down enough for the patient Alice to drop the ward. The lack of resistance caused him to overstep. That small opening in his stance allowed Alice to give him a very powerful punch to the gut. It caused him to cough heavily as he was brought down to his knees. She knew better than to linger while he was still armed. It was over. Alice continued on her way to class. He was still trying to gasp for air. Alice went to her last 2 classes of the day without incident. She was pissed when most of her classmates moved onto to more challenging targets. She was still stuck where she was before the assessment. It did not do much for her self esteem. The next day was where she did great on her other classes. She was happier with her results. It was soon time on Wednesday to meet up.
