Classes were very easy for the first 10 sessions. The minigames were really simple at the beginning. The big pose simulator was standard across magic, melee combat, archery and equestrian fighting. With archery and tactics, it was something else. Tactics was just a game of spot the difference between 2 very similar looking armies, mechas or navies. In archery, you actually did have to shoot the bow. They were really big and close up though. It was time to move up. The minigames got a step up in difficulty. Even though they were harder Alice was fine with them. The minigames with the poses got more advanced and the time to get there were halved. Luckily for a girl like Alice, she and her brothers were competitive in games like this. With just arm and hand movements, there was not much that could be thrown at her that she would get flustered by. The spells that she learned here increased as well. It gave her a stronger aptitude with the spells the academy taught the class. It made her score high. Some were unable to cast half the spells because they were so bad at the minigames.

The archery targets got smaller and farther away. You were still expected to hit them. Tactics made you determine which formation would win an upcoming battle based on a huge rock-paper-scissor style run-off. You had to beat the A.I. in a best of 5 set or lose for the day. Alice did not win it every time, but she did not lose every time she was confronted by the challenge either. It put her in the middle of her class. Out of all of her classes, it was the tactics classes that seemed to respect her the most. At first, they were as cold as the others cohorts she had been paired with. However the teacher was very impressed with her progress. Once it was pointed out to them, the students were soon to follow. Seeing as Alice as the middle of the class, there were those that were able to take her as not a challenge so they were charitable. Others in the middle were comforted that they were at least doing as well as the non-human. The other non-humans were pleased that one of them was getting recognition. Those humans at the bottom were upset, but Alice never gloated or threw her wins in their faces.

Due to that, they were not able to complain much about her to her face. Alice was not naïve enough to believe they were not talking bad about her behind her back. Alice simply did not care what loser NPCs had to say. The first sparring day was a Sunday 2 months in for Alice, she had to run the gambit for her A schedule. That meant she had to compete with her peers in restoration magic, melee combat and archery. Her class for restoration was paired up with a melee combat class of nobles. There were only 4 of each class for this session. You could only assess so many students at once as they were moving around and fighting. Alice was paired with a very haughty looking young woman. One of her classmates was paired up with Darell. Alice recognized him and pointed him out. "I know you! You and your crazy cousin almost fought with me the first day of school!" she said out loud. He flinched and then just looked at her in alarm. It was hard to forget the only pink centaur. His focus soon looked over towards where the spectators were waiting. Alice could see Arthur draw his blade in anger.
