Where did Glora end up? Well, as improbable as it was, she ended up in Karyn's backyard, in Karyn's world.
Glora looked around at the poorly-kept lawn, then up at the sky, and then around at all the houses. She laughed.
"Who? What?" It was Karyn's mom. She was in shock. She just saw a metallic-looking woman appear out of nothing. It had been days since Karyn disappeared and she had stayed home all that time, in case she ever came back or at least called home. She never thought that she'd see anything like this.
Glora turned to her. "Woman! What is your name?" she said in her Viking language. But Karyn's mom couldn't understand. Unfortunately, Glora didn't know that and began to get angry. She didn't like being ignored.
