I had already made up my mind to keep the kids when I saw they were being managed in the gutters of the town. I walked up to 03. "Hey, 03. I do not like how you guys have been treating my kids like they are less than human. I am honestly really pissed off. I really want to keep being friends with you, but you say these kinds of things about them is making it hard to stay nice to you." I said seriously. He looked at me and sighed. "Brianne. You know that we have a special bond. I want to have you really bad. How about this? If you let me mate with you, I will let you take the half breeds." he said with a cheerful face. I slammed my arm on the wall next to his head. "Stop calling them that. Call them my children or use the word 'hybrid'." I snapped. His face turned more combative. "Hey. I've been wanting to take you on and test my skills. I don't think I will lose to you anymore. Want to give it a shot?" he challenge me. "And call the whole town here!? No. 03, just let me go." His eyes narrowed and slid to my arm. "Move it or I'm going to crush it." he stated. I sucked my teeth and put it in my pocket.
03 stepped into my space. I seemed to have triggered his aggressiveness. He was looking me up and down. "Holding back is very hard for me. Do it Brianne. Start a big fight with me." he begged with malice in his eye. I just sighed and looked down. "No. I don't want to fight you. I want to take my kids home with me." I told him. He shoved me in the chest. "I don't care about that. I want to fight you." he said firmly. 03 was goading me now. "Naw. I don't want to." I told him. That made him angrier. He then punched me in the arm. That really hurt. I rubbed the area. "Can I hug you so you calm down 03?" I asked him. "Depends. You aren't going to moderate my behavior with human emotional control. I won't stop you though." he said with a smirk. "I cannot talk to you if you're going to be this way. I don't want to fight you. Please calm down so we can talk man to man about this." I said. 03 just looked at me. I stomped back into the gym and saw 01 was there. I went over to him and asked. "Can I please have all my kids now?" 01 shrugged. "You will have to talk to our leader." he said. 03 grabbed me.
01 looked at him with annoyance and said "Where were you!? I had to cover for you at the machine. You know they need to be spotted if they don't have partners." They looked at each other and 03 tightened his grip on me. "It is Brianne's fault. He wanted to see the half breeds!" he snapped. 01 said "Well, do your job here so I can go I show them to him." 03 shook his head. "Brianne wants to steal them all. I'm stopping him from doing that." he told 01. I just shook my head and said "No. I do not want to steal them. If I did, I would have taken one and then ran away. Why would I come back inside to talk then?" 01 looked at 03. 03 stomped his foot. "He's lying. He said he wanted to take them." he said. 01 looked at me. "I don't know. He is really good at combat against us. He could have fought you." "Let me fight him already!" 03 snapped out loud. 01 scoffed. "No. You have a job to do. I can go out and fight him if he wants to steal from us." 03 glared at me and went back to the machine. 01 then took me over to the alley with the children. They were all still there and looked at us very confused.
