Since they were all dropped off, we had to go home. I asked where they wanted to go. Half of them wanted to hang out at the guild building. Another half wanted to return to Dwan Town. That was fine with me. After walking the kids to the guild building, we walked back to the car. I was going to open the door when it exploded in my face. It took almost all of my health. My kids just shrugged it off. I used magic to heal myself back to full health. That pissed me off. I looked around my surroundings. There was nothing amiss that I could see. I groaned out loud. They looked at me in concern. "What's wrong!?" Riley asked me. "Are you still hurt!?" Ashton demanded to know. I shook my head. "I'm fine. The care is gone though. It looks like we are going to be walking all the way back home." They did not mind. I did mind it though. That was a lot of walking. We started the journey. Having both Ashton and Riley at my side ensured that I would be safe. Kendall was just for overkill. Eventually the four of us made it back home. The rest could get the staff to bring them home. I did not want to make the trip.
Now it was time to go to Volition Clan. I got in one of the cabs and drove over. When I got to the gym, I parked the cab outside. Volition Clan was inside like usual. Simply attending to all of the humans here was difficult. There was a PEA unit at the front desk talking to someone. It was a human thinking about signing up for a month long gym membership. I guessed they had to get their money somehow. It took ten minutes to get them to commit. We just drove people around and served them at the club with food and sex. I When it was my turn, the PEA unit blinked at me. "Are you still here Brianne!? Why haven't you moved on already!?" I rolled my eyes. That was really stupid. I said "It is nice to announce myself when I come in. You know that if I just walked in and did whatever, you would all be annoyed." The PEA unit just smirked and said "I would love trying to kick you out for overstepping your place here. Do it." I just looked at her. "I would obliterate you. Without even trying." I said calmly. She rose in anger from her seat. "Say that shit again! I dare you!" she said. I told her the same thing.
The PEA unit launched from her seat and tried attacking me with her fists. I began running away from her. Beating her up in the gym would not look good. Even I knew I would be disadvantaged. If I did not have magic or guns here, they would be able to get me in hand to hand combat. That was what I was the least confident in. Using all of that would be seen as abusive by the humans that actually liked the staff here. 02 was seen a hero before he was exiled from the gym. When I got to the exercise equipment, I saw 03 was there. He was hiding in the corner helping someone using a machine pulling ropes for their back muscles. I pounced and hid behind 03's back. I wanted to end the conflict by using him to stop the PEA unit from attacking. He looked over his shoulder at me. "Brianne!? You know better than to run in the gym. Are you an idiot!?" he scolded. The female PEA unit ran in and searched for me. It was not exactly hard to spot me. I was very distinct when it came to my appearance. They also knew me a lot. She saw me and demanded 03 hand me over to her. 03 just said no.
