The researcher looked upset. "So you will continue collecting data on who knows what unchecked!?" I said "I'm sure that the very accommodating Advocates will allow all of you the access you require to make all the data and fact collection that you would like to do. Everything is a two-way street. I am a human so I can tell you guys that they are driven by the desire to bring their progenitors here. That's true no matter the faction. They will do whatever they think is needed to make that goal a reality. It's in their programming." "I didn't think you thought so low of us." the Sonic Clan leader said as she frowned. "And yet it is true all the same. I still like you guys." I assured her honestly. The new Toxic Clan leader said "We are in exile from our own transmission hub because of the government blockade. We would like to return to the bank. And soon please." "No way. Out of the question guys. After all we did for that foothold against the Conquerors, we're not giving it up to some newbies that just got started yesterday." Terrance said. Toxic Clan glared at him. He did not back down. I sighed deeply.

Looking from side to side, I said "It was simply not possible for everyone to come to an agreement on everything on the first meeting. I think that we should all call it here and pledge to meet here again. We have the remnants of the Radiation Clan to track down and eliminate. Wind Clan backed down, but it's clear they will continue to be a problem if they think they can interfere in our plans and pick us off. We should definitely give them a visit and slap them down a notch too." That seemed to get moderate agreement from the people gathered. We ended there. With the meeting over, we could get up and talk to others as they were getting ready. I was looking at our prisoners and had an idea. I caught Marion's eye and waved him over. He facepalmed and made his way. The researcher and the general were not too far behind. "As a sign of good faith, how about I transfer these two prisoners to you guys?" I offered. The researcher's eyes lit up. "Not practical. We have no insulation from radiation. We would be cooked by the time we got to the nearest facility." the general said. That was true.

Rolling my eyes, I said "We have to figure out something. This is the safehouse for the Sonic Clan. Their true base is somewhere else. Upstairs is where all of the regular cyborgs come for repairs and mission rewards." They both nodded their hands. "I wonder if they would hold them here for us. We could visit them here and do all sorts of experiments on them." I said. That would be fun. The AEP hissed at us. That was when the Sonic Clan leader walked over to us. I looked over at her. "Speaking of nice experiments, can we ask that you release one of our own now. His name is 11-003. His alias among humans is Tommy. We care for him dearly and would like him returned to us." The general looked at her and said "Finder's Keepers. If we caught Tommy where he was not supposed to be, he is now with us." "We are treating him well, so you don't have to worry too much." the researcher added quickly. That actually seemed to be true. I did not hear any really big complaints from Tommy or any of the other members of Sonic Clan. She frowned. "We're willing to give more if he is returned."
