I knew that the local police chief and the mayor were also here for the meeting. I was not at the big table. I was on the wall across the room from the door. I was able to see pretty much everyone in attendance. The police chief and the mayor of the town nearby were here. The chief was named Chief Jones. That was all he offered. Their mayor was named Edward Xyarius. They looked like serious people. I hoped that they would be at least open to talking about what Sonic Clan had to say. If not, things were going to get a bit dicey. Terrance, Marion and Nancy were with three of their fellow investigators. I remembered them from the binder I was given by Cold Clan. The other investigators were sitting nears some other bigshots. There was a cyborg researcher and a three star general. That was something that I thought was great. When even generals were here, this was a high risk high reward affair. If this went well, Sonic Clan and the coalition would be really well regarded. However, if this went really wrong, we would have lots of problems doing practically anything. I would still do my job.

There were also some syndicate representatives here as well. Lisa Brueller was the Vice President of Client Relations for Libra Force. Libra Force really was one of the major syndicates on the continent and helped with the next phase. Whether it was knowingly or not was not for me to know. Cubic Systems was another syndicate that was operating. They were considered a minor player in the game, but they were firmly on the side of all the PEP units. Their CEO unfortunately could not make it, so the syndicate COO was here in her place. Bruce Masterson had his goons surround him. It was clear that they were here to show force and power in this meeting. They all had some nice tech suits on them. I wondered what they could do. Another couple of guests were just Player randoms that hacked the communications. In order for them not to leak it to other factions, they were allowed to go up and watch. I would not be surprised if they got some retribution against them at some point down the line. Then again this was the pro human faction of cyborgs. They might be really fine with it after all.

Machina Systems too. Really exciting was the top cyberpunk of the region. Her name was Lady Fingers. Her hands were replaced by metallic digits. She appeared out of nowhere and came to kick ass and fuck hot guys. God help you if you were in her way and not hot. She was actually not a Player. It was actually odd for an NPC to rise so quickly without Player help. I could only think that she was involved in some way with a Player. She smirked at me. I just ignored her. She was sitting next to an official wearing a suit. I did not know why he was here. That was none of my business. What was my business was when the doors opened again. All of the sonic AEP units came back together and were followed by their clan's leaders. Once they walked in front of us the meeting began. There were still a few empty seats. They came right out of the gate with a detailed presentation of the battle for the toxic transmission hub. They had a video and everything to show us. The cops raised an eyebrow. When it was done, they looked at us. We all looked back. "This simply can't last." the leader said.
