Incidentally, there was another trio of performers there at the club. They did not have any upgrades. It was not for a lack of trying or religious conviction. They were just some cyberpunks that wanted to make it big. However, the band they had was simply not good enough to hack it. The club threw them a bone every now and then because they did odd jobs such as supply runs and eliminating people on the verge of exposing the club to the public. In that regard, they were extremely valuable. It was also interesting that all 3 of them were Players. We hit it off right away. They actually remembered me from the ship. They were able to escape the onslaught on the beach and make it onto the mainland okay. They were not used to the setting at all and were kind of stuck. They wanted to be bards, but cyborgs and other constructs can't be healed via magic. Humans in the audience could benefit. Any rich corporate manager could have retained them for quite the pretty penny. However, the free ass that came from working here and helping out was an awesome deal. Sex was worth more.

"So those were your human companions when you arrived on the continent." 03-002 observed. I just nodded my head. There was no need to hide it. There was also nothing that they could do with that information. I was clear.
