It was time to do a little trolling. I quickly moved over to him and smiled wide. I then said "Sorry for snapping at you just now. I just was not expecting you right now. Why are you here!?" He just rubbed the back of his neck. That seemed to me like he also wanted to ask something from me. Another AEP unit was in the hallway. I happened to see him out the corner of my eye. "Wow. I have an opportunity for you guys." I said as I pulled out two of the sexual upgrades I had left. "It seems that I have some fresh AEP sexual upgrades left over. Plans change sometimes, so you can take them back to your clan. If you put them in your fabricators now you'll have enough for the whole clan." I told them both. They looked extremely happy about it. 07-002 snatched it from me with a nearly manic grin. "Thank you Brianne! We will do our best to take care of them!" he said. 07-004 came over and said "That's not what we came here to talk about. That giant monster is nosing around out territory. Since you brought it to us. You have to help us get rid of it." So, this was a continuation of the scripted event.
That was the last straw for Magnetic Clan. Luka, Lynx and Link began stomping 04 out in anger. 04 yelped in pain. The others did not stop until 04 was in his primordial form. I did not care about his plight. I pulled 07-002 and 004 close to me. "Those guys are from Magnetic Clan. They were unbelievably rude to me. So much, I gave the upgrade I was going to give the one they beat up to you. I obviously have more to spare but the thought is what counts. You both are allies to PBJ Clan, but I don't know the actual relationship between you two. They might try to steal it from you. Let's get you on your way before they try to ambush you." I whispered. They hardly looked concerned. "We don't care about that right now. We need you to fix the mistake you guys made!" 07-004 said firmly. I rolled my eyes. "Fine." I snapped. I went to the PEA unit. I picked six of them at random. "You are to help the Electric Clan slay a beast. If you can complete the mission and return, there will be a massive reward for you." I said. They all jumped at the chance to be useful. It was part of their very programming.
Perfect for me. Sending them off with the Electric Clan AEP units now served two big purposes. For one, it satisfied the obligation that I help them as an ally. The second thing was that they now had some added protection if the members of Magnetic Clan tried to take the upgrades they had. I also had to go now. That meant gathering my team. Sunny, Lucy, Zayne and 02 were all over the place. Luka came to me and got down on his knees. "Please. I do not want to fail my mission. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry." he said. I sighed out loud. "Luka. I get that this means a lot to you. Is there going to be a penalty if you fail?" I asked. He looked up at me and looked sad. He did not answer me. It made me narrow his eyes at him with suspicion. "Are you making fun of me, Luka!? I want an apology only if you mean it." I said. He frowned and got up. "It was worth a shot." he said, looking upset. "All I need from you guys is for you to convince 04 to say he's sorry and mean it. If this mission means so much, it can't be that hard to say those words." I said. Luka trudged off to go look for 04. I was looking for my team.
