Fortunately, nothing came out of him. I was not sure I would be able to dodge everything he had to give me. When I got up from under him, he frowned. I really dodged a bullet. "Brianne was right there. Why didn't you get him when you had the chance? It would have been funny." the Volition Clan leader asked. 04 looked at me in shock. I was confused. "You did something to my upgrade didn't you!?" he accused me. I pointed at myself. "What are you talking about? I didn't do anything other than install the upgrade. One that I never even wanted to give you in the first place." I said. It was so annoying to be accused of something that I never did. "Yeah right! Then why is my abortion failsafe not functioning correctly!?" 04 snapped. I shrugged and said "I do all of my exercises. My diet is healthy. You know, just some human stuff. I am a pretty fertile guy." This was all a huge joke to me. The clan leader came over to me and pulled me to my feet. "Stop playing around." he said. I looked at him and said "It looks like we are going to be family soon." He sucked his teeth and pointed to the exit. "Get out."
He did not have to tell me twice. I needed to keep going anyway. I still had more sexual upgrades to give out. Going up the stairs, I thought about how I would distribute it to them all. As I was leaving the stairwell leading to their gym's backroom, someone grabbed my arm. I snatched my arm away in shock. I turned to see 01 and 03. They looked really upset. I sighed and took a second to calm down. "Did you really sabotage all of our upgrades?" 03 asked. "No. I wouldn't do that kind of thing to you guys. I just would refuse to come to give it to you. You both know that." I said. They looked at each other. "We know. But 04 is now going to have a half breed with a human. You know that it isn't right." 01 said. I rolled my eyes. "Ouch. Tell me how you guys really think about me then." I said sarcastically. "No! We like you. You're one of the good ones. But still... we are not supposed to be mixing genetic material with humans." 03 protested out loud. "I have lots of children with PEP units. One's in a different clan. I care deeply about them all." I told them. Both of their eyes went really wide. "I want to see!"
I was not having any of that shit. "Hell no! I can't trust you guys around my kids!" I snapped at them. Both of them looked indignant. "What are you talking about!? Look at us. We are not only stronger and better than humans and other types to cyborgs, but also enhanced and supplied with weapons. Weapons that you gave us." 01 said. 03 added "Yeah! We can protect your children better than you can!" I looked at 03. "What the fuck are you talking about!? You burned down a gym that I go to and killed people because you lost a damn volleyball game to them." I told him. 03 flinched and took a step back on the stairs. I then looked at 01. "You keep trying to kill 02. That is totally unacceptable." I told him. He did not even have the decency to looked ashamed of himself. 03 came back up the step. "You don't understand because you are a human! We don't want to hurt 02. We have to kill him because he is a traitor to our clan and faction. If he just let us kill him quickly, we wouldn't even have to go all out to corner him." he tried to explain. "You can only protect those currently in your clan." I said.
