We had to take a bus there. I made sure that they were ready and knew what they were getting in for. I had the article about their previous tournament when they all got several humans injured. I was the leader of the group. Of the four that did not back down in front of 03, two of them had friends that they wanted to take along. I said that it was okay as this was the whole Volition Clan we were talking about. Who knew who were on their roster for challenges to their gym and clan? There was a very small gap of two days to get everything in order. When we got there, I was in the front of their pack. I took them to the front desk. 01 was the one there. He smiled when he saw me at first until he realized I was leading the group. He sucked his teeth. "We are going to destroy you. Brianne, I don't even know why you even brought all of these people here when you know what we can do." he said before he got up. He then led us to the courts. There was a trio of them before the gym area. Humans were all still playing on them. It was time for their clan to rally their troops. That took them some time.
Volition Clan was just a front, but it was important. They could not kick everyone out except the competitors. That would be really suspicious for them. I did not know the amount the heat they had. They were Conquerors here. It would not be out of character for them. For all that I knew, they were warring with the government on a regular basis. If so, they definitely could not afford to slip up. We all would have to wait for closing time. We had gotten there right in the middle of the day in the bus. We would be there for several hours. I motioned to them so we could huddle up together. Once we were all huddled, I said "Listen up. We have time. Look around for the staff. It is very important. They usually have green hair and yellow eyes. Or they might just be the ones working the machines. Those might be the ones we're facing. This gym has a lot of guys." The nodded and we split up. They guys got some work in to limber up for the showdown. I got to see that I was right. There were several AEP and PEA units near the equipment. Some were definitely new to me. I learned they were 05 and 06.
