03 glared and said "Get over here so I can put you down, traitor!" I snapped my head to him and said "How could you!? 02 has been through so much!" He looked at me and said "He is a traitor. 02 used to be a Conqueror. Now he is lazing around as a dumb Researcher. I bet he can't even help you with that nerdy stuff you guys do." It was a pretty harsh assessment. "PBJ Clan is the attack dog clan for the faction. He doesn't have to be good at any of the sciences." I said firmly. 03 looked at me with all of the intensity of a crazed lover. "Please let me fight him. I promise I won't make him suffer too much. It's really important to our clan and faction. 02 can't be allowed to just go free after joining another clan when he was exiled." I looked back at 02. He actually looked really nervous. My mind was already made up. "If you have to fight 02 for a dumb reason like that, you have to go through me first. He is a part of our clan and we will not let anyone hurt him." 03 looked upset. "Hey! You're supposed to be my friend! You said that." he snapped. I shrugged. "We are. I haven't attacked you." I said.
That was when he frowned and took an aggressive stance. That clearly was not a good thing. "I don't want to fight you here, Brianne. Just get out of our way." he said. In a way, this was always going to happen. I just shook my head. This fight would not happen on my watch though. "Let's go hang out somewhere. Just you and me." I said calmly. 03 then looked between 02 and me. After a bit of time, he nodded and said "Let's go then." He took me to the same gym and he made me work out again. I was not a happy camper. 03 noticed this, but he did not say anything. "You really are bad at this Brianne. Ever since we first met, I have to keep you from dying on the bigger equipment." he said when I rolled on my back and panted. 03 was not impressed. I could not say anything about it. The AEP unit then shrugged and sighed. "How is it possible that I can't still beat you up?" he asked out loud. I smirked a bit. "Because everything that counts means that I am still stronger than you." I teased. He walked to me and crouched beside me. "And what is that!?" he asked. I said "Strength of character."
One of the patrons of the gym pointed at them and said "Hey! This guy is a monster! Another crazy session so quick!? You're the man!" He was obviously here during the time I spent with 02. 03 frowned and stood up. "It's my first time here. What are you talking about?" he asked. The man looked confused. "But you were just here!" he said. I put my hand out to stop them. "You don't get it. This is his twin. I'm friends with both of them. It was just me being unlucky and double booked." The patron blinked in surprise. I probably would trouble believing it as well. 03 just scoffed. "So you let him just wander the town, huh?" he said. "Of course. He is a full member of the clan. I don't stop him from going anywhere after we cured him. All of our members can roam as they please." I whispered to him when I dragged myself to my feet. He tilted his head to the side. "Then maybe I'll run into him one day." I heard him say. That made me look at him in annoyance. "Stop trying to start a war. It's not cute." I said to him. I was very serious when I decided to protect 02. 03 was not going to hurt a hair on his head.
