John held up his new Gun, practicing his aim. He thought of all the cool applications for it! There were a few modifications he still wanted to make, like being able to include a "Script" function that made people re-think their Role with a script, or a reverse option so he could revert people back. What would happen if he shot someone that hadn't been Fictionalized yet? Questions like that drove his scientific pursuits.
"John, dinner's ready! Come down before your Lasagna gets cold!" He heard his mom shouting from afar.
"Coming m- OOF!"
John had made a huge mistake with another modification he forget to add. He hadn't added a safety feature to lock the gun. With his hand accidentally slipping on the trigger, it bounced off a reflective surface and shot back at him. He was in a daze.
When the new 'Actor' got up, he put the gun away and rehearsed his lines a few times. He was supposed to be playing John, a magnificent kid scientist and this next scene was him going to eat dinner with his mother afterall. He couldn't be hasty, he had to get it right! His acting would feel deplorable if he couldn't nail a role as simple as this. The John-turned-Actor acting as John went downstairs to go eat.
