Anna sat inside the middle of a large decorated circle painted on the floor. She'd stripped completely nude, since wearing any clothes during the Interversal Normalization process would add them to the gambit of changes about to be incurred upon the world.
The Wizard read from a large tomb and began to chant Latin. The circle glowed. Anna felt herself fill with magic, than felt that magic go out into the reality and change it anew.
She closed her eyes.
A flash so bright as to cover the whole Earth dawned in a heartbeat, and was just as quickly faded out.
The world returned to normalcy. It's new "Normalcy."
The wizard threw Anna a towel and helped her up.
"Did it work?" she asked.
"Let's go see."
