"W-wait! Come back!" The Annas quickly ran after their younger self."
"Stranger danger, stranger danger!" Young annie repeated. It wasn't until they managed to close her in on both sides that she stopped.
"W-weird, you're weird! Why do you look like me!"
Anna blurted out quickly "It's because we are y-"
The other ran to her and held her mouth. "Y-you from the future! We're you. Older you! But you cannot let anybody know we're here, alright?"
The other Anna looked at her duplicate, who winked at her. She searched through her own memories and realized her younger self would be much more cooperative with this kind of information, even if it was only half-true.
"W-wreally?" Annie asked bright-eyed.
"Yeah! We're from the future, and there's two of us because- of a time paradox!"
Young Annie cocked her head. "Oh yeah, that what's my favorite cartoon theme song?"
Anna rolled her eyes and swallowed all the guilt she could muster.
"Unicorn Forever~You go and shine oh so bright. Unicorn forever~The skies will sing out of your might! So go and fight fight fight! We haven't lost love yet. Oh Unicorn forever! There's still hope and friends we haven't met!"
The younger Annie hugged her quickly, seeming to almost solidify her changes utterly into her younger incarnation.
"It IS you! I mean you are me! I told momma I would never stop loving that song, even when I grew up! I knew it I knew it I knew it!"
The other Anna looked at the hugged one giddy, almost unable to stop her laughter. The humor would've hit stronger, had she didn't realize it was still her that had to share in some of the nostalgic guilt.
