Anna's body crackled with magical energy. The wizard cowered immediately and leaped back. With her newfound strength, Anna leaped up and smashed the machinery aside.
"MUST... BECOME... ANNE! I WILL BECOME...ANNA?"
The wizard peaked out just a bit. In spite of her rage his magical test subject looked confused.
"I WILL BECOME ANNA...BUT... I AM ANNA? I MUST BECOME... AND YET I AM... AND YET I'M NOT? I AM I'M NOT I AM I'M NOT I'M ANNA- MUST THINK AND REMEMBER AND BE ANNA- DONE! I DID IT! BUT I- GAAAAAAAAH!!"
Anna smashed the floor with her foot than fell back. She squeezed her head in agony and cried in confusion. The contradictory desires of wanting, needing to be Anna, although she was already Anna held her mind in permanent deadlock to no relief. She had her wish! But she couldn't have her wish! She couldn't transform into or ever become and be Anna- because in truth she was already Anna. She felt like a dog chasing he own tail, in this case if that tail was placed right atop her doggy nose.
The wizard played with his fingers and grunted. "Ahem. So, maybe we should try that again?"
Anna, who was also not-anna but really still Anna only sobbed.
