The new woman was half her age and looked slightly like a supermodel. She wore the same clothes but it looked somewhat fake, like she'd been given them from a dressing studio and walked on a movie set, rather than wearing them naturally. The new actress groaned.
"Lasagna's almost done? Seriously? What kind of lame script is this. If I'm to play this Mom than they should atleast try to give me a unique personality."
John shrugged. "Would you like them to cast you as a romantic lead or some kind of punk chain smoker?"
This lit up the new womans eyes. "A romantic lead? Hell yeah!"
"Guess we'll see what we could do." John smiled giddy and watched her in delight. The new actress practiced all the usual dialog his mother would say, trying to emulate her natural body movements, pretending to cook and scold him, and occasionally showing disdain for her own "Wardrobe."
After a while of fooling around, she pouted and walked out of the kitchen. "Well, enough practice for today, I'm going to take a break. I'll be in my dressing room if you need me." John's mom went upstairs and he figured she thought her own room was her "Dressingroom now. Curious, John followed her up and decided to see what kind of person his mom was offset. He wasn't fully aware of the implications of his machine, but the true self of the actor behind each actor-fied person was their true self, the mask they wore behind closed doors outside of polite company. As she went into her bedroom, he peaked inside to get a good look.
