Dietrich walked by the city streets. The smell of smog and asphalt filled the air, much to his accustomed displeasure. His slick dark hair spiked down, and his white fur coat protected him against the fumes. He watched his step carefully, it wasn't always safe on these streets.
Traffic was at a standstill, as usual. Normally he'd ignore the broken stoplight and cross the streets anyway, but this time a small artifact caught his eye. It shined in the glint of it's shade, reflecting brightly in his eye.
Covering himself from it's beam, he carefully walked over to the patch of gravel and dirt where it lay. Picking it up, he tore off a tag reading "Property of John", crumpled it up and donned the Shades.
"Do you mind?" An older 40-something lady walking her terrier bemoaned as he stood in her way.
"Pfft. Take a hike." He sneered. A slight spark shot out from the glasses, faint but there. The ladies eyes glossed over slightly, and she dropped the leash of her dog, walking robotic. As she did, her skinny jeans seemingly melted, ebbing and flowing into a tan liquid that re-wrapped itself around her legs.
"Nylon Hose?" He eyed her thighs, perfectly coated in sheer hosiery, walking step by step to literally "Take a hike."
Dietrich could only watch the strange display, taking off the shades and staring at them amusingly. A smile perked up on his lips, and he felt today was going to be his brand new day.
