The Selfie App, more powerful and stronger in it's Abstractions than anything else available had an incredible ability. It allowed one to visit another's innermost world! This world, the setting usually looking like a place significant to them is set up much like a cartoon or Videogame. In it, everything from one's personality and knowledge, to the different parts of their self and very identity are captured in this world! This world can be literally entered as a physical space, or simply played with as a Phone App just like any downloadable game.
Their fears might be represented by goons and enemies, like Goombas. Little minions. Bits of their knowledge may be known by NPCs and colorful characters. Skills they have might be powerups, or cartoony effects. And important parts of them, the most critical of all would be players, and now 'you' can be one too! 'Players' can go in and interfere with everything going on in this world, with consequences accordingly, in real time. By simply snapping a picture of another, one would be able to not only visit their inner-world, but change it as well.
Don't like their fears and insecurities? Beat them up!
Not fond of someone's personality, want to spruce up their preferences? A little landscaping is all that's needed.
Any alterations to this virtual world end up becoming real changes to the person effectively 'outside.'
There's even a copy/paste/save option that can overwrite 'slots' of a person, or exchange and 'share' them onto others.
In addition, there are other Micro-Apps for this program allowing for all kinds of creative manipulation!
And now, John had this finished App and it was ready for use.
