"You what?" Kathy said, handing back John's phone.
He took the phone back nervously. There was a strange popup that he remembered before he set the App. What was he thinking, who knows what could go wrong?
Checking back at the settings, John realized where he went wrong. Instead of the copy-setting being set to "All", including one's knowledge, personality and Identity, only a single aspect was checked off among the sub-list.
That meant that he might acquire anything from her! It could be his taste in fashion, or opinion on law. Her sexual preference, relationship with her family, self-confidence, anything at all from her perspective! While it was easy to imagine what it might be, he'd only known Kathy so well, the different viewpoints and aspects of her Mind could be vastly different than he expected. He doubted she was a serial killer or stalker, or anything like that but the risks were high! He hoped at the very least it was something like "Wit" or relating to her knowledge.
