Elsewhere in the store the other had scattered as the pink dolls had tried to crowd them into the castle, a few had gone inside but others had escaped, Bernadette had managed to avoid the castle but now her lungs burned for air as she ran through the bizarre toy store that stretched before her, she passed the isles that she had seen Sharon and Mimi run down, one doll had followed by Mimi had managed to loose hers by turning on the merry-go-round while the doll was still standing on it. Now, however, the ride slowed to a stop and the doll stumbled off clutching its plastic head in its hands.
"Ooh! Megan Dolly is so dizzy! Where did my playmate go? Oh well I can play with you!" it said straightening her arms and skipping happily after Bernadette as well. Now she had to of the identical dolls chasing her. She ran deeper into the store and found herself in a strange maze of toys, the walls were made of Lego blocks and wooden blocks and sometimes simply piles of stacked toys. Knowing she couldn't outrun the tireless dolls for long she decided to use her brain instead and entered the maze. She quickly began to make as many sharp turns as she could denying the dolls a direct line of sight, she heard them both call out in unison somewhere behind her as they began looking.
"Megan Dolly will go that way, and Megan Dolly will go this way!" one of them said happily as if they were beginning a game. The tap tap tap of their shoes on the floor started again as they began their search. Cursing her bad jogging habits Bernadette stumbled deeper into the maze, her lungs on fire now. The dolls would find her soon enough and she couldn't run a step more. Looking around she tried to see what she could use to hide or defend herself, a smile appearing across her face as she spotted . . .
