The now familiar compulsion to obey overwhelmed Genie once again. But she was confused how to grant her Master's wish. The first part wasn't too hard. The second part, about everyone treating Joseph as being normal in either gender was going to be more difficult. But then, Genie realized she was looking at things wrong. While she could not affect everyone Joseph knew, as wishes naturally affected as few people as possible (This was not a limitation of her power, of course, but a restriction placed on all Genies so their Masters could not get too wild with their wishes), she could create a second identity for Joseph -- a female one.
Green magic blossomed from up and around Genie and came to swirl around Joseph, reshaping his body into something smaller, cuter, a woman with red hair in a pixie cut. In fact, Genie realized as the emerald smoke cleared that she gave Joseph a body that she found attractive. Similar -- though not identical -- to Claire, the hair being the notable difference. With the change came a cute set of clothes. She wasn't sure what kind of style Joseph would enjoy, so gave her clothes Genie would enjoy -- a scarlet red Genie costume identical to Genie's, including golden manacles on each wrist. Joseph was not, of course, a Genie herself, but Genie figured that by giving her such a costume would force her Master to use a second wish for some proper clothes.
The newly minted woman ran her hands down her slender new body, exploring and enjoying it. And then as she realized what she was wearing, looked up suddenly to her Genie.
"Genie, what did you do to me?"
Genie smiled, "I gave you a new identity; quite an interesting one. You can switch back and forth when you please. Would you like to know more?"
