Young Sammy, age 12, sat on her bed, reciting lyrics to herself from her favorite pop band and looking over a magazine appropriate for a girl her age. The pink walls and feminine paraphernalia pampered the shelves and marked her childish innocence She was the youngest among her siblings and at times got the least oversight, but didn't mind too much. With a knock on the door, she went to go open it and greeted her mother, who ordinary never knocked.
"Woah mom, what's with the saucy getup? And...hair dye.I know dad won't be home for weeks but, are you going out on a date?" She asked.
Her mother chuckled and patted Samantha dotingly. "Afraid not Sam, but I've come to realize you could use a little, maturity. I love you so, but I do think you deserve the finer things in life, don't you agree?"
Sam shrugged, a bit lost and nodded. "I guess? Whatever you mean by that."
The darkened mother smirked, reaching her hand and blackened nails out to her daughter. "I'm glad you agree. Let's get started."
