The taste of warm pepsi and a chilidog flavored Molly's mouth. The exuberant teen wandered about the city happily, with no real goals or resolve in mind, other than the day to day leisure like the food in her hand allowed for her. Being self-emancipated, even through the forceful means that most would call 'running away.' Enjoying her meal and passing by a strange dusty old stand inbetween an alleyway, a shadowy man in a fur cloak tapped his foot, humming patiently as if he'd been waiting to greet her. Below him was a short stuffy old lady with a scar on her eye and bandages on her head covering her eyes. She waved her hands over some eggy-looking orb.
"Be careful what you Do, and take caution where haste and mirth leads. A careless day stolen under the sovereign Sun will strangle you, until her light is snuffed and your time is done." The strange streetbound mystic said, grasping her hands out after. Molly rolled her eyes and pocketed a few quarters in her hand, trying to put the strange words out of her mind.
Suddenly a blur zoomed past her. From her recovery, it seemed to be some kind of caped heroine and an escaped felon on the run. She was so there!
"There's no doubt about it, chaste goddess of time and the echos of the fate be damned and defiled. She's the sovereign one, the purveyor of all that we seek!" The prophetess said, pointing at the malnourished child.
"She? But honored seer, she has a..." A robed drudge interrupted.
"It matters not. The fangs, the aura, the swollen and bloodshot eyes. It's definitely 'her', whether this child is a she or not. Put her in the nursery and begin her rearing immediately."
