Katie stared in shock at the two boys who had just yesterday been a thorn in her side. Rather than there usual snobbery they were mocking her in some utterly cruel fashion. Squeezing her fist, she wanted to deck them for mocking her this way, but they just stared waiting for her reaction. Unable to bring herself to do it, she swallowed her pride and waited. The boys covered their mouths giddily, much to her irritation.
When their ride finally arrived, they skipped onto the bus and greeted the driver, something they never did.
Sitting at the back, with their catear headbands perked up and and goofy smiles, they sat behind Katie without an inch of personal space given. Which was less than usually because escaping her notice was the fact that the two boys had put on a few chubby pounds.
"Pssst."
"W-what? What is it today." She grumbled.
"Pfffft. Forgot your ears today silly!" Tod said, blowing rasberries and placing a pair of cat ears onto her head.
They giggled wildly and thrashed in their seats. How much more insulting could they be, Katie wondered.
